This year our school has made it so that we cannot bring any food (even packaged food) to school for birthdays. Damn. When I asked my soon to be 6-year-old what he would like to take with him, he said "sunglasses". I laughed at first as I pictured a group of six-year-olds sliding across the floor like Tom Cruise in a risky business. But I still ordered because our son runs the household, he thinks. And they worked perfectly. Absolutely not a risky business. More like a cool kindergarten version of The Men in Black as they came out of school with great force that day.
