Gaskets don't fit old cans
They replace spouts on my 25 year old gas cans with real vents, before the EPA when gas cans were good. These spouts are ok but nowhere near as good as the ones that came with my tanks which have held up so far. They don't have the best seals and they roll so they leak around the seal when pouring. They worked a little better on another brand, I had an older can but still had a slight leak. They might work better on much newer cans, but if you have good old pre-EPA vented gas cans, they're not the best.
