Absolutely fantastic product! WiFi was at least 400 feet at 15 Mbps! I live on a mountain and have many trees. I firmly believe that if my property were flat and cleared, it would reach much further. I am using this to connect wifi to solar powered wireless security cameras on my property. There would be many trenches for laying wires. The device itself isn't as easy to understand as setting it up, but once you figure it out, it's easy to do. Tip: Use an app instead of a controller if you're not very tech savvy. I never managed to get the controller to work on my Mac. You have to download java and some other stuff and it still doesn't work. After reading the help pages on the site, it said you can install it as a standalone device with the app! Well, this information wasn't included in the instructions that came with the product, and it wasn't supposed to be. When I found out about it, I got it up and running in less than 20 minutes and it met or slightly exceeded my expectations. Great. I can add others, albeit later (solar powered) to expand it even further. Two other units and my entire 10 acres are covered by high speed WiFi. This is very good for devices under $100 each!
