Review on 🚗 EASYGUARD EC003N-V Car Security Alarm System with PKE Passive Keyless Entry, Remote Engine Start/Stop, and Keyless Go System - DC12V by Chris Morales

I liked it when I first installed it. Now, after a few months of use, PKE works when it wants. The same applies to remote start. I had it checked out by two independent electricians (separate from who installed it) just to make sure everything was hooked up correctly. But it still doesn't always work. And yes I read the manual, followed the instructions but they don't work either. Details. Sometimes when you approach the car it will unlock perfectly but not lock when exiting. This forces you to lock it using the lock button on the remote, which disables the PKE ability. It seems to happen at random times as I haven't defined any set conditions for it yet. Same goes for avoidance, so I have to be careful not to leave it unlocked. Now I just manually lock it every time. The doors no longer lock automatically when I'm in the car. I drive a few minutes without realizing the doors are unlocked as they used to automatically close when taxiing. Remote start is the same. It also works at random intervals. This applies with and without activated PKE. I don't know if this is caused by some obscure configuration, but according to all the available instructions I could find (of which there are very few), the system just doesn't work the way it used to. I'm not sure if this is related, but it all started after I was driving one day, stopped at a red light and the alarm just started ringing. I had to press the lock button to stop it. Since then it has never been the same. I tried the included instructions I saw on Revain. I'm not sure if they are for my model but I was desperate. They also do not work with 2007 Subaru Legacy JDM.
