I bought this shelter and a small game version with a red roof for my imp. His terrarium is long enough that I could tie them together with an empty roll of kitchen paper. The top two entry holes in each shelter line up perfectly and the holes are exactly the size of a paper towel/toilet paper roll. Combine and jackpot. Your hamster now has a super fun adventure complex! My little friend LOVES it! My favorite part of this hideout in particular is the little platform that allows my little friend to stand on his hind legs and watch his kingdom. SO PRETTY! Because of the size, I would recommend it for mice, gerbils, dwarfs and small Syrians. I think the entries would be too small for something bigger. I would like to mention one scammer. The recordings were not clean cut when received. I found a lot of firewood that could splinter your little friend's legs. However, the remedy was quite simple. Hand sand, hand sand, hand sand! Once I was happy with the smoothness of the wood it was worth it!
