Took this on a 4 day hike. I was on the verge of getting a bit heavier than I expected, but now that I can leave my standalone light, it worked out just fine. Please note that the included LED flashlight actually has three different modes: bright, silent and repeating SOS - the included instructions explain how to set it in each of these modes using the power button. On my trip I was able to charge my phone 1.5 times and use the flashlight a bit and still have 2 of the 4 "bars" of energy left at the end of my trip. I haven't been able to personally test how fully waterproof/waterproof the device is, but it appears to be able to withstand moisture and falls. Also, I've noticed from other reviews that some people have issues with the rubber. Port Cover: It has a small bungee cord that can go back into the case and thus out of the way, allowing the lid to then fully close and seal, out of the way e.g. B. if you are not careful when feeding the leash back through the hole it protrudes from, it will interfere with closing the lid. Out of curiosity, I tested this on my 15-inch MacBook Pro and it provides a trickle of power in an emergency, but I wouldn't plan to use it as a PD power source for more than one tablet on a day-to-day basis. I gave it 5 stars based on its quality and value compared to other similar products. I've found it meets my needs for durability, comes with a flashlight, and is easy to pack.
