I had an old LaZboy chair that was badly worn (leather tears) and abused by pets (leather scratches). Also, the color has faded over the years. This balm worked beautifully. It has covered most of the rips and scratches to the point where you have to get close to see them and then they are barely visible. The color is back and the chair looks great. It was easy to use. As far as I remember I applied 3 or 4 coats. Everything went smoothly, I had no streaks or stains. After each coat I buffed it with a clean cloth and after the last coat I buffed the chair until I didn't see the color fading on my clean cloths. I am very happy with the results. I'm wondering if I'll get the same results using black on a turquoise chair. I'll let you know if I try. I'm sorry I didn't take a "before" photo to show the difference.
