Ideal for small SUVs and large cars

It wasn't too difficult to install, but I watched a few YouTube videos before it arrived to prepare myself for the installation. I ran into a few issues that were entirely my fault. I assumed my pop-up's trailer tongue was at least 4 inches long, but about halfway through installation I realized it was only 3 inches. You can still install the struts, but there will be a gap between the bottom screw and the underside of the tongue frame for the struts to slide through. I solved the problem by welding a 1" square piece of metal to the underside of the tongue and now the braces fit perfectly. I'm pulling a pop out of a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that has a low clutch ride height. My popup is also low which caused me to have to rotate the receiver down instead of up to line up the popup and the car. I couldn't do it because there would only be 6 inches of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the hitch. I just cranked the receiver up and adjusted the clamps to the lowest setting, bringing it closer to level, but the end of the pop-up is still slightly lower than the tab. After a test drive on the track, I immediately noticed the difference. I could barely tell the popup was behind me. No wobble and the machine works like nothing is connected. The pop-up weighs about 2500 pounds loaded, so that's about the maximum weight my car can tow. This clutch changed the world and I feel a lot more confident pulling out the pop. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality towbar with sway control built in. Also, the fact that I can reverse without disabling the separate anti-roll bar is amazing.
