This bow looks great on large packages such as computers and TVs. All bows but one opened exactly as intended. It takes about a minute or less to separate the red and green bows to make one big colorful bow. The steps are very simple. You hold the base of the bow and pull the thin ribbon all the way through. This causes the loops of the bow to contract and expand. The loops are doubled, green and red are superimposed. You simply take each stitch and separate the two colors. Loosen the bow a little and place it on the package. I used a small piece of ribbon to hold the bow in place while I wrapped and tied the long, thin ribbon around the box. The long, thin ribbon tied around the package is long enough to get around most large boxes. The only box it didn't fit was a 32-inch TV, and even there I was able to tie it to the short end of the box. If you are looking for something more substantial than these little bow sticks, this is definitely the product. use.
