Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 235/55 R17 103T winter by Stanislaw Glusinski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

Because I frequently rely on evaluations available on the market when making a purchase, I am going to write this as it is, without adding any embellishments. Utilization experience: Three years on 205/55 R16 tires and one year on 215/65 R16 tires (the car was sold). Although the spikes are glued and many people are fearful of this happening, over the course of three seasons of operation, only one spike out of four was lost. 20–30% (20–22 t. km) of the vehicle's value has been lost. Produced or made in Germany. In the most literal sense, a trapezoidal spike will first eat through ice and then move on to asphalt. In terms of its ease of manipulation, the chip of this rubber resembles rolling snow. Rulitsya divinely, like on asphalt! You can feel how strongly the rubber itself adheres to the covering whenever you make an attempt to start a skid with the back axle (on any surface, in a car without electronic stability control)! Certainly not on bare ice at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour! Do not anticipate such miraculous occurrences from any kind of rubber! Everything seems reasonable, but this rubber gives you the freedom to do whatever you want. Snow porridge between the lanes can be confidently passed while changing lanes, but deep snow porridge with ice underneath it all over the road requires greater caution. There will be no super acceleration or super braking here (sure, there won't be any rubber), but you will still feel confident. The car has been on the machine for three years, and it has never gotten stuck! When it starts to snow on the highway, you pull over to the shoulder and get out of your car as calmly as you did when you got there. The roads in the Hong Kong region are typically cleared of snow and ice closer to dinnertime, so you can have full trust while driving on newly fallen snow in the morning. In conclusion, rubber is good for a solid five, and I highly recommend it to all of my friends who have tried it; they are as content as elephants. I will only take her with me when I go skating next winter, and my wife will continue to skate for another three seasons.

Pros
  • 1. The acceleration and braking performance is outstanding on any surface, especially wet pavement, which does not get along well with spikes. 2. Steering that inspires confidence when navigating tight spaces and taking corners 3. resilience to wear and tear 4. The thorns are securely embedded in the rubber.
Cons
  • Absent in every respect!
