Review on Sony SELP18105G PZ 18 105Mm OSS by Agung Casanova ᠌

I use it for video and in general I am very pleased with the glass. Sharp enough, very good stabilizer. Of the shortcomings . after the camera falls asleep or turns it off and on, the lens returns the set focal length to 18mm, this is annoying. When shooting an interview or something like that where the camera is static, you have to remember the set focal length and set the frame again each time. It is very problematic to shoot objects large, in order to focus you have to keep the camera at a great distance from the object, but I think the macro ring should solve this problem (although the lens is all electronics, it’s not a fact that it will work adequately through the ring, I haven’t tried to use it myself yet ). These are the main problems I encountered with this lens. As for the rest, I am completely satisfied . quite sharp, light, f / 4 is enough for me, universal due to the large range of focal lengths and, what is important (knowing the price of sony glasses) is not expensive ~ 45k (06202222), but I looked and ordered for 33k (new).
