If you clip it in the wrong way.it's gonna be hard to release. It's a loose item you have to hold it in place to lock the seat belt. Not so easy with a toddler , especially as a single parent. Ive accidentally clipped it in back wards and it was so hard to release. Very stressful because it's just me and my baby. No extra help to get in or out of the seat. If she was a calm baby I wouldn't need this lock, so already hard to buckle in. If the was some thing to set it on the seatbelt clip would help a lot. It do its job when you clip it in right. Good luck with that , if your baby is a wiggle worm like mine. Tried to upload pics.wouldn't download.
