I had high hopes for this, but was disappointed. It's very large, so it takes up a lot of space compared to two toothbrushes and toothpaste in your carry-on. Second, the top is difficult to remove. I have to use force to pull them apart - the top is what I call "sticky". Third, an ordinary tube of toothpaste doesn't fit in here. It only requires a smaller tube which is 4 to 6 ounces. By introducing toothpaste "feet first" into the channel, the block becomes heavy at the top and easily tips over, as it only has a flat round base the size of a 50 cent coin. Yes, it's protection, and that's enough. Room for two regular toothbrushes (even with toothbrush cases as shown in my photo) and between a 4 ounce and 6 ounce tube of toothpaste. In addition, the upper part serves as a drinking or rinsing cup. It is functional in this respect, but limited for my purposes. The current price of $9.99 is a competitive price for this one.
