Review on πŸ”¦ EWO's BL-FP240G/SP.7AZ01GC01 Projector Lamp Bulb with Housing - Replacement for Optoma HD143X, HD243X, HD144X, and more by Robert Corral

Works great on my Optom. Darby had to use old lead.

My model is a Darby HD lamp which is no longer supported by Optoma. This new bulb is very bright and looks the same as the old one except for the connection to the projector. This is easily fixed by replacing the new one with the old one. Be careful not to damage the small connections to the lamp, they are a bit tricky to remove as they are under the latex mount. Leave the latex on the old bulb and don't unscrew the screws in the block bulb or cover all the way, they have threads to hold them in place so you don't lose the screws. After replacing the old light bulb with a new one, put the cover on before turning on the device. The light does not work without a cover. I had to call about it, I thought my new lightbulb was broken. The reason I tried turning it on without the lid was to see if it would light up before the final install so I wouldn't have to reinstall it if it didn't work. Without a cover, it does not light up due to the risk of fire, this is a safety feature. The projector works like new. I will add to this as needed. So far, so good. Be very careful with secondary lights. Some could ruin your projector while it looks great.
