Review on BFGoodrich g-Grip 195/65 R15 91H summer by Adam Listopad ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

The price for this rubber was moderate, worth the money, with careful driving for 5 years it’s definitely enough (we have a summer season from mid-May to October). The only negative is that it seems to have been discontinued, so in which case a replacement (especially in Eastern Siberia, where there is a lot of Chinese rubber) is difficult, if not impossible, to find.

Pros
  • The noise is the same as that of the rest of the rubber, the handling in the city and on the highway is good, I did not check hydroplaning - I slow down before puddles.
Cons
  • The sidewall is quite soft, like most summer tires. The day before yesterday there was a case of its breakdown at a speed of 100 km / h, but as it turned out during the repair, it caught a piece of reinforcement. Vulcanization helped, even the camera did not have to be installed. I don’t see any more specific shortcomings, I don’t see the point in testing through mud and ice. P / S After a couple of years, the vulcanization grunted, melted again, it was enough for a season, then it began to be lowered. Spat, bought a used cylinder. Today is already the 5th season, 2022, I put it on the car, it started shaking, one cylinder led. Stored vertically. I won’t take any more, though, the soft sidewall, I suffered with it.
