I'm a graphic artist and I bought this stand for my drawing monitor because the stand that came with it didn't help my back and neck position. This stand will hold an XP-Pen 16.5 (more like 17-inch) tablet with no problem. Very durable and doesn't move when I put my hand on it to paint. The material of the stand is high quality metal, not cheap plastic. It's quite a hassle to get it in the right angle, but you don't have to worry about any wobbling once you've got it in the right position.
