EDIT: 03/01/19 - Zyxel has agreed to buy back my devices entirely, so that's great. Originally left a 1 star review but Miguel was very accommodating and immediately refunded after noticing my 1 star review. Thank you, I'm glad you understand why I would be upset. After I returned the equipment, I built my own firewall that works like a $2,500 router for only $400. Look for Protectli, they sell a barebones kit for $259. Only need RAM and mSata boot disk, installed open source software, pfSense. The original review - it clearly states that the USG40 has a throughput of 400Mbps in firewall-only mode (with UTM and antivirus disabled, much slower with enabled). I pay for high speed internet and regularly get speeds in excess of 400 Mbps, so a limit of 400 (advertised bandwidth) or even 350 Mbps would be acceptable. But this device does not even achieve half of the declared throughput! I have 196Mbps - 200Mbps.
