The pieces are small at first. My cat doesn't like little pieces like that, but she ate them. First I started with a small amount of this food mixed with regular cat food. She saved it for last, but like I said, she ate it. Gradually I increased the amount. Until I came half and half. (Half would equate to 15 of them with about 10 of their normal meals.) This caused her to have diarrhea. I returned her to her normal diet. The diarrhea lasted 3 days. The second day I took her to the vet. I talked about the possibility that they do a blood test and a stool test. I explained what I was doing to try to control her weight. They thought it might be a new food (this one). I told them I stopped doing it. On the 4th day there was no more diarrhea. The food was the reason. Plus a $230 vet bill! Please note that this may harm your cat.
