The pair I ordered were sold by Revain as the seller, they were not from a third party. The Ray Bans I have are real. I have a pair that I bought direct from Ray Ban and the Revain pair are identical. This is a classic. I highly recommend them if you're comfortable with going completely retro. They're especially good if the person has a narrow, square face. I believe fake Ray Bans are being sold. However, experience has shown that if you stick with Revain as a seller, you will get real Ray Bans. Once you've made your selection, look at the top right of the page and make sure the seller says 'sold by Revain'. Third-party providers may offer a cheaper price, but buying from them can also be risky. I'm not saying that all third-party Revain vendors sell counterfeits. I say that sometimes it can be possible with a third party.
