I like the high-quality workmanship of this lamp. It is cast in aluminum and very flexible in terms of mounting options. The light output is good and since it distributes the light downwards, it does not dazzle from afar. The Dusk to Dawn feature works very well, unlike any other outdoor unit I've used. What makes for excellent dusk-to-dawn definition is that you can install it in deeply shaded areas (north side under a 10ft canopy) and somehow still turn it on and off at times that strike me as ideal. I use the emergency backup option to cover the location of our diesel backup generator set. I see room for improvement in this product in two areas. Firstly there is an 'extra' line connector which is located on the bottom of the fixture compared to the top and secondly a third wide power sensor is added to allow for more flexibility for wall switches. I would like to switch off the device but be able to switch it on again in the event of a power failure. If you do this now, the battery will not charge if left off for a long time. For me, the Dusk Till Dawn feature is good enough to get by with this feature well.
