It arrived with lots of nasty scratches on the ruler and a little sloppy. The handling could have been better, so I'm a bit disappointed. I have a combo square that is over 40 years old and apart from some wear and tear is better than this Irwin square and doesn't bear the maker's name. There was a significant burr at the end of the rule that needed to be filed. Buy a one-piece, all-metal woodworking angle. it will be accurate. I am updating my rating of this place. I'm amazed at the good reviews. I took this square to a friend who is a retired engineer and asked him to test it for accuracy. instead of 90 degrees, it is between 88 and 89 degrees. I'm going to keep part of the ruler, but the rest of this combination square is going to my trash.
