I have rather narrow lower teeth so I prefer thin floss and it fits me well. If you need a heavier and thicker thread, look elsewhere. It's a pretty cheap feel, but they seem to be holding up well. I agree to reduce the amount of plastic wherever possible. The only complaint I have is that the little boxes that come with them are a little weird because they are empty. I'm a bit picky (pun intended), but I found it odd. Don't get me wrong, I love having them because who wants to keep a big bag of 250 teeth of dental floss on their desk, in their car or in their purse? It just surprised me a little. Either way, if you're looking for a cheap thin thread that comes with a couple of boxes, this should do the trick. If you're expecting $9 quality Cadillac 250 floss, you'll be disappointed. I've never used the things that come with them to say what they are.
