Review on Secura Electric Coffee and Spice Grinder with 2 Stainless Steel Removable Bowls by Opal Holmberg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great even for a novice grinder

This was my first time grinding spices and I couldn't believe the wonderful aroma! Much fresher than the jars in the supermarket! This meat grinder is easy to use and easy to clean. He grinds the cardamom (and pods) into a fine powder. For spices, use a 2-bladed bowl. Place the blade tray onto the motor base and gently twist to secure. Add seasonings (do not exceed the maximum level line printed on the bowl) and cover the bowl with a small clear lid. (If you forget this step, you'll end up with spice powder on the counter, not much, but still...). Put a large lid on the bowl and plug it into an outlet. Gently press the top for 3-5 seconds. (If the engine is not running, the knife cup may not have snapped into the base.) Check the order. I found 4 sec legumes 5 or 6 times yielded a fine powder (fennel seed, mustard, cumin, allspice, cumin, coriander). Clean the bowl after you grind each spice, as the spice can transfer its flavor to the steel. To clean, I used one of those hand brushes with liquid soap inside. It fits perfectly in the bowl; cleaned the blades without risk of injury.

Cons
