Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.
The purchase of a bottle with a comparable capacity was marred by a foul odor, which, despite my best efforts, could not be eradicated. As a result, I chose not to use the bottle in question. The fact that this bottle is made of food-grade, BPA-free silicone was a deciding factor in my decision to make a purchase of it. This quality is very important to me. Regarding the aroma, this bottle almost completely lacks any trace of it, and if it does, it is extremely faint. Simple solution: wash the bottle with detergent and then soak it in a solution of soda (4 teaspoons of soda pour warm water up to the neck, close the lid and leave overnight). When rinsing the bottle in the morning after the solution has been drained, there is not even a trace of odor left.
- The fact that the bottle may be folded in half or all the way in order to save space is perhaps the most significant advantage it possesses. Washing with a brush inside the bottle is not difficult because it has a wide neck and may be folded into exactly such proportions as required for the task. Because the lid is secured to the bottle with a clamp, there is no chance that it will ever be misplaced. This was another feature that won me over. Easily held in the hand without discomfort.
- It's not that it's a flaw, but more of a pattern that needs to be broken. It is easier to get used to than a standard plastic bottle despite the fact that the main body of the bottle is made of silicone rather than plastic. However, this characteristic is not immediately noticeable.
