In a family of 5 with iPads, iPhones, iPods, Apple Watches and laptops, we use charging cables and we need them everywhere. They are strong and substantial. fast and reliable when loading. A real Lightning cable is thicker and heavier than the standard cables that come with Apple devices, which is a HUGE plus, especially for my kids who need a heavier plug.
