My old mouse's scroll wheel stopped working and I needed something fast. I went to amazon.com, searched and found this mouse. Once I got it and hooked it up, I found that my old mouse wasn't all that bad in comparison. It's choppy, the time out sucks like hell, I feel good and it's helping me get through until I pick a real replacement. It doesn't have to be a mouse for everyday use. It uses that old red laser on the bottom, which is pretty picky about what you use it for. Timeout is the most annoying feature. You have to press a button to wake it up again, which is just weird in 2020. I keep it to myself until I choose something permanent, after which it goes on the closet shelf as a spare or maybe in the trash, I haven't decided yet.
