Successfully plays 4k at 60Hz via USB 3.0

The graphics chip in my laptop is having trouble handling 4k at 30Hz so I decided to try this even though my connections are USB 3.0 and not 3.1 as stated in the specs, it is required to transfer 4k at 60Hz but to my delight this device has no problem transferring 4k at 60Hz over USB 3.0. Of course, I don't play or run graphics-intensive apps, but it works great for boring business apps. Very happy.
