This pen is very well made - high quality and very durable. Defects; If you have a focus wheel on the right side of the gimbal, it has to be moved to the other side to install this knob, which made it impossible for me to use it. If you don't use the focus wheel, that's not a problem. I removed the focus wheel and installed the knob, which revealed another problem. The grip shifts weight back behind the stabilizer bar and makes it so heavy in the front that it's almost impossible to hold onto - I couldn't hold the stabilizer bar with this grip. The final problem is that the screws go into the recessed holes in the handle. Only two screws are included and since the screws are inserted into the handle it is almost impossible to replace a screw if it is lost.
