Ok let me start, I've replaced the polarV800 where the battery finally gave up! My biggest criticism of Polar is their {proprietary USB cable/connection). So I just plugged my new Polar Vantage into a USB port on my laptop, but my laptop didn't recognize it at all (no binka ka da bink). While it didn't work that much before, I now have dozens of USB devices that work perfectly, but the right Polars cable? It was also causing problems with my V800! So the good news is that the Bluetooth sync has allowed me to sync and the watch appears to be charging, but this USB cable issue took at least a 1 star off my rating! But Polar needs to know the connectivity is there and has been a problem for a long time and hasn't been able to fix it, so another STAR GONE! I could go on and on about their Polar Flow software. But this is a hardware review!
