My aging TV was slow to blind the HDMI ports for a while, so I didn't want to waste this old TV when my last HDMI port failed. I've paid good money for this over the past decade, and I didn't want a couple of faulty HDMI connections to ruin my TV screen. Luckily my TV has had a component connection since the early days of "high definition". Naturally, I came to Revain to find a device that could convert my Fire Stick's modern HDMI signal to the legacy signals from previous displays. As you can see from the attached image, the device successfully completed the task and the TV recognizes the full 1080 resolution. All in all, I would recommend this device. Also, vintage component cables are sold separately (but I'm sure we all have one stashed away in a 2000's cable box, as did I).
