I usually wear varifocals but if you have them you know how expensive they can be. I was looking for cheap prescription glasses to wear with steampunk outfits and although the seller had a near perfect frame for such glasses, they didn't offer them with bifocals. So I bought them hoping to turn my monofocals into more useful bifocals. I had to trim them a bit (easily enough by stitching them together and using very sharp scissors), but my relatively strict recipe setup worked well. I first soaked them in very warm water and then carefully placed them in each lens. It's been 6 months and only now are they showing signs of needing some squeezing. In general I am very happy with them.
