I love that it holds my iPhone X in an OtterBox Defender case. I removed the sprocket because the nut holding it on the ball end is very difficult to tighten and the jaws are very difficult to stretch. If I try to open the jaws, I feel like I'm about to break the non-ball mounted stand (I use the Rugged Ridge Dash multipurpose storage system). It also weakens when the Jeep hits bumps and the phone is pointed down. Update: This holder is well made of metal, except for the ball socket that holds the entire assembly (including the phone) in place. This part is plastic, it will break. I removed another star because at almost $30 this thing should have lasted more than a few months.
