I've tried repairing different parts over the years with different types of glue, resin, epoxy and most of these have worked temporarily but it seems easy, to increase the thickness and make it heavy. so that the part fits properly. Wow, it was lighter than me, although the pieces seemed to stick together very solidly and tightly in a matter of seconds. Just for a little extra strength I added a layer of flexible sealer over it when I was done and covered it with plastic. Looks and feels like a new OEM and I don't have to spend $50 on a used part that is no longer in production and will probably fail in a few years.
