These are really great shoes! The emblem is raised and there are many details that are difficult to see online that make them look amazing. My 9 year old son is very excited about it. I would say size. He could also easily put them on. I worry about this style sometimes, but it wasn't a problem. We'll probably order another pair, one size larger, when fall comes to school! I also like that neon shoes are a bit red because different sock colors can be combined with it.
