I have disassembled the controller several times to access the joystick and have tried to repair the left joystick to no avail. I then decided to buy these little guys to replace the little white wheels with attached metal components and to my surprise they worked great. Now I don't have to throw away my controller - I wish I could wait until these new parts replace the same damaged component on another controller I just destroyed because I couldn't fix the joystick when I tried to lock the wheel to clean. .
