I bought this to use on a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and it works great! Several negative reviews mentioned that it was unstable. I've found that it becomes unstable if I attach/mount it to the doorknob incorrectly (too close to the edge of the knob). But I positioned it closer to the center of the latch and had no problems. If you are looking for a full size ladder you will be disappointed. But if you need easy access to the center of your roof rack, it works great. It carried all my weight (about 180 pounds), didn't dent the door frame, and allowed me easy access to the center roof. . If you are older or a bit uncoordinated you may not want to use this article. But I highly recommend it for getting to hard-to-reach places. I don't have any place to travel with stairs so this will help in our upcoming trip.
