I meant two ways to use them. Behringer x32 AES50 and analog audio via network cable (e.g. Rat Cat Box). Both require screen continuity as ground. All of these connectors are plastic and do not require shielding. I have confirmed this with a meter. The Neutrik Ethercon connector is connected well and cleanly. I wouldn't worry too much about it falling out, but there is no "click", no binding. It would vomit immediately. So pressing the release button is pointless. Build quality appears to be good, but unfortunately they won't replace the much more expensive Neutrik.
