The shorts are comfortable! They are very cute with a pattern on the side. I'm 5'4", about 180 pounds but most of the weight comes from my waist, small hips and buttocks. I bought these because I needed shorter pole fitness shorts. They are the perfect length, are comfy, doesn't ride up much but for a man of my build you'll need a longer shirt if you wear them inside out as they enclose the 'spare tire' area I rely on all the clothes I buy here to on photos and videos but that doesn't give me the opportunity to do the same Hope this helps!
