Grease nipple a plus
We had to replace the original wheels on our sliding gate, the bearings literally fell out when we pulled the wheel out to inspect. We didn't have the ability to inject grease into the bearings and I think if we could they would have lasted for years. These wheels have a grease fitting so we can do preventative maintenance. The gate now slides with very little effort.
Pros
- Easy installation. In order for the wheel to rotate smoothly, it is attached to an axle inside the box. Holes can be attached to it with a screw, and the box is designed to be welded to the gate. These wheels roll easily over any surface, minimizing the human effort or mechanical energy required to pull heavy loads.
