I have many cats and have used this litter for a number of years. After years of having to change your pen every week or the smell driving you out of the house, this pen has made a difference. I clean up the crap and the pine nuts do the rest. It never has an unpleasant odor, mostly smelling like a light needle aroma. I recently tried another brand and didn't realize it was ground pine, which isn't the same. The nuggets are important for keeping this filler smelling fresh and keeping the filler in the box. I quickly remembered the years before Pine Nuggets and will never try any other brand again. Don't be fooled by cheap brands. . This filling lasts longer and keeps the box cleaner for longer. This junk ends up reducing the money you spend over time.
