I use a gamepad with a computer. Before that, there was a DualShock 4 v2 (also played on a PC), so I compare it with it. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far my impressions are very positive. The controller from Microsoft feels better assembled. DS from the first days creaked and rattled when working with vibration, this is not the case. You also get used to asymmetrical sticks very quickly. Since 99% of the time the thumbs are on the left on the stick and on the right on the buttons, this configuration feels much more natural and comfortable. The triggers on the DS are perhaps better placed, but this is not critical. Another plus compared to the DS when used with a computer is that in most games on a PC, the layout of the gamepad buttons is derived from the XBox controller. That is, you don’t need to constantly convert A to X, Y to a triangle, etc. in your head. By and large, the only negative is a very bright white LED in the power button ("X"), which is not configured at all through the computer. In a dark room, it can noticeably hit in the eyes. In this regard, the DS was much better, since both the color of the backlight and the brightness were adjusted there, up to a complete shutdown.
