The cut is exactly as shown, but the color - the picture of the red patterned blouse looks like a rusty red but it came in Christmas red. I'm on the edge over whether to return it or not, because I could use a christmas blouse, but (big sigh) I don't know. and yes the fabric IS soft but it sort of sticks to the body like a cheap nightgown. But I do really like the neckline, just undecided because it means traveling 30 min. out of my way to return it and don't I want to go through the trouble? idk.
