I like beautiful nails. I used to work as a manicurist and pedicurist so I like nails. But now I have two kids and live in a very cold climate so my windows are tightly closed 6 months of the year. I just couldn't use acetone to paint my nails at home. The smell, the fumes were too strong and I was worried about my children's health. So I searched and found this product.* IT WORKS! I was shocked how well it works. I followed the directions and left it on my nails for a while before going back to rub it with a cotton pad to remove the nail polish. It works. I've used it to remove bright red nail polish as well as lighter tones like nudes or peaches. It works.* It actually takes no longer than using acetone. A few minutes, if that. It's okay.* I bought Eucaliptus Spearmint. It's beautiful, but best of all, it's not a strong smell. It's not overwhelming at all. I would also like to try a fragrance free product.* It will NOT dry out your cuticles and nails like acetone or acetone based removers. In fact, my nails and skin look and feel hydrated after use. The product is based on oil, that's why.* They say the product is not harmful to the environment. I'm not a scientist so I can't confirm that statement but it feels gentle on my skin and nails and the smell is nice and subtle and they list all the ingredients on the packaging. It's basically just oils. I love that about it.* I also love the fact that the packaging is made from recycled materials.* It's way more expensive than a bottle of regular acetone-based nail polish remover. I can get a bottle of regular nail polish remover for a dollar. I paid seven times more for this product. But given the benefits and how well it works, I'd say it's worth it.
