I was looking for a trackball with a scroll wheel like the Kensington wired trackball. Even though it was big, it seemed useful. It hurt to use it. I didn't mind the size at first, but I was never able to get Bluetooth to work on this one or its warranty replacement. The ball wasn't designed to stay inside if the trackball was tipped or flipped, and I generally had to search for the ball after it fell out. To make matters worse, the damn thing stopped working a few months after I got it. Kensington sent a replacement - and DAS had a large dent in the ball. I used the ball from the original. Bluetooth never worked. Each trackball required its own paired USB transmitter. It would be a lot easier if Kensington used a USB device that could just plug into all of its wireless devices (like Logitech does). After getting used to the Logitech wireless trackball, I stopped using this large and heavy trackball for a few months. and when i went back to this kensington, changed the batteries and tried to use it, it stopped working. I don't want to deal with Kensington again - maybe they'll replace it under warranty, but WHAT? Another one with another dent in the ball and a lifespan of three months? If I were still a reviewer for journals, I would rate this rather poorly.
