This is a solid charger to me. It feels like good quality that should last. It takes up almost no more space than a dual port charger, but with 4 ports, no one else struggles for a charging port on family trips. Update: My iPod picks up a lot of electrical noise that is transmitted through the speakers when plugged in. Accusation. Instead, using the charging port on my radio reduces the noise significantly. This charger does not have electrical noise reduction.
