Review on ⚡ Enhanced ACDelco Professional C603Z Voltage Regulator for Optimal Performance by Jason Vigil

I installed this on my 1987 Dodge D-250 after replacing the ESC a little less than 2 years ago. I bought some sort of fake Jipp-O brand and from the first minute there was nothing but trouble! First off, this Jipp-O device had a very nice gray paint finish. Well that was just to insulate the firewall where it was attached so I had to take a sander and wipe the paint off the 4 mounting holes. both sides. After that, the battery will never be fully charged. I would plug in a charger every 2 weeks just by sitting there. I had a parasitic drain on the battery which I traced back to THIS REGULATOR! I read on a Dodge Ram forum that the guy "Uses Delco AC controllers ONLY. No problem." He said that even though they cost a little more, ALL the others are complete GARBAGE! He was absolutely right! Once I installed this one, I realized it was true as my alternator belt squeaked when I started the engine (the belt was too loose but the other regulator never made the alternator work hard enough for the belt to slip!) I know AC Delco ONLY for my trucks!
