I love this product because it actually gets hot. No other mug warmer I’ve used in the last 15 years actually keeps liquids hot. I prefer hot drinks to warm ones, so even though I’ve tested the other two settings, I always use this warmer’s hottest setting. I’m thinking of buying one to keep in store, and I wish it came in white (I would buy two more)!EDIT:The first one is still working well enough. Sometimes the micro switch doesn’t register me removing the weight of the cup and stays on, but I figure that is a minor problem, as the unit will auto-off. The second unit I just bought had the opposite problem right out of the box, and at first, I couldn’t figure out why. It wouldn’t register the cup’s weight and wouldn’t switch on unless I pressed it a bit. Sometimes, it would even switch back off after a few minutes post-pressing. This has proved to be an issue only on something like a desk blotter or a table with a mat or cloth. It’s a great mug, but I’ve docked a star from my initial rating (as I wanted to use it in an area with a mat, then a cloth, and finally had to put a coaster under the switch to get it to engage).
