I don't use this for wigs! I use it for protecting my edges while asleep! I initially purchased this to see how it would work under wigs, but the tone was too light for me and didn't match my scalp color. It's so comfortable that you'll forget you have it on, and I realized the band stayed in position the whole night while I was sleeping. I sleep "wild" and never wake up on the side of the bed I fell asleep on. This band never moves, and it's great for protecting your edges and pillowcase if you like to use a little oil on your hairline before bed, as I do. I don't get that kind of protection with a bonnet alone, which slides from time to time, so while my hair is protected, I occasionally get crunchy edges in the morning. No-thank-you to the bulk underneath my HD lace, but this product has made my hairline healthier.
