I bought this as a backup for my aging stand steamer which I knew was about to fail. I wish I had opened the box earlier. The so-called floor pad is nothing more than a thin towel (far from microfiber) held in place by plastic alligator clips. The pad was clearly used as it was dark gray in color and stained straight out of the box. The other alleged pads weren't even in the box. The device itself is bulky and inconvenient to use. "Steam" gets the floor so wet I had to use my wet vacuum to suck up the excess water. The device dries out very quickly due to the large amount of excess water it ejects. Unfortunately my old steamer didn't perform as expected so this 'new' unit wasn't opened up quickly enough to return and ended up in the bin after the 3rd use. Although more expensive, I will return to HAAN Floor Sanitizer, which offers a longer cord, very hot vapor, leaves a fairly dry floor, and is easy to use and store. I can clean 3600 square meters. Feet with a single tank of water with HAAN and leave your home smelling clean, pleasant to the touch. This device would require at least 5 tanks with very slow heating in between.
