Review on 🌬️ Honeywell CS10XE Indoor Portable Evaporative Cooler with Detachable Tank, Carbon Dust Filter, Remote Control - Silver/Gray, 300 CFM by Patricia Wilson

Our house is about 70F. My office is cluttered with electronics, sits above a garage and hits the mid 80's during the day. I bought this unit to try and keep my house temperature down, if not less (I prefer 68F). Working with this device 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, my office is open around 76 hours during peak hours. Extremely difficult to add water (uncomfortable handles on the bottom of a large/heavy unit). I have to fill it up 1.5 times a day (too often) and it doesn't help that the bottom 1/4 of the water tank hasn't even been reached and is therefore unused. Sometimes it makes a very loud noise, loud enough that I have to turn it off to make a call. During this time I lose valuable chilled air as it has trouble walking even without getting in and out. I really wish I had bought another device. I'm disappointed in the efficiency, service and noise. It still cools the room enough for me to keep using it, but I can't wait for it to break to justify another purchase. I would not buy it again and would not recommend it to anyone.
